[our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Barenya Das” image=”1372″]Dr Das completed his basic medical degree in 2001. He then moved to the UK for higher training in 2004. Having completed his Basic Surgical Training he went on to train as a GP and qualified in 2011.

He worked in General Practice until 2017 and then moved to Australia to join our team.

Clinical interests: all areas of Family health, including children’s health, Aged Care and Men’s Health.

Dr Das has a special interest in skin related conditions and carries out skin checks and performs skin cancer surgery.[/our_team]

[our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Fouad Israel” subtitle=”General Practitioner” image=”1442″]Dr Israel qualified as a Doctor in 1997 in Egypt and worked as a GP for 4 years. After this, obtained a masters degree in paediatrics and neonatology in 2004. After moving to Australia, I started working as a GP in Australia in 2009, completing a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of GPs. Areas of interest include paediatrics, procedures, chronic disease management and helping patients with mental health problems.[/our_team][our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Shilpa Mane” subtitle=”MBBS, MRCGP (UK), FRACGP (AUS), DRCOG (UK), DCH” image=”1443″]Dr Mane is committed to providing a high level of health care to her patients.
She has completed her GP training from the UK. She relocated to Australia in 2009 from the UK.

In addition, she holds a post graduate diploma in Paediatrics and a diploma of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice with special interest in Women’s Health, Child Health and management of Chronic conditions.

She also offers Maternity Shared Care with Mercy hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and Northern Hospital

[our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Davinder Nagah” subtitle=”MBBS MRCGP(UK) FRACGP” image=”1444″]Dr Nagah was born and raised in London and graduated from Imperial College School of Science Technology and Medicine in 2002.

He went on to gain extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and ENT prior to completing training as a General Practitioner in 2009.

Current interests include all aspects of Chronic Disease management and child health surveillance.[/our_team][our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Wengtak Poon” subtitle=”MBBS (UK), MRCGP (UK), FRACGP (AUS), DRCOG (UK)” image=”1465″]Dr Poon was born in Scotland and studied medicine at Edinburgh University.
He qualified and practiced as a GP in England, before moving to Australia in 2012.
His clinical interests include chronic disease management, child health and mental health.[/our_team]

She completed her post graduation to specialise as a GP in the UK. She had been working as a GP for 6 years in the UK before moving to Melbourne. She has special interest in women’s health, child health, chronic disease management including diabetes, asthma, copd, hypertension, heart disease and mental health. Outside work, she enjoys song writing, reading and spending time with family.[/our_team]

Dr Tan qualified as a doctor in the UK in 1996. She is a recognised GP specialist in the USA, the UK and Australia. She is passionate about providing high quality medical care and keeping up with current best practice. She is an examiner for the Royal Australian College of GPs and the University of Melbourne. At Laurimar she teaches medical students and trainee GPs. Prior to moving to Melbourne in 2013, she was clinical director of a medical centre in London and was extensively involved in postgraduate medical education and training.

In addition to the full scope of General Practice, she offers maternity shared care andIUD/Implanon fitting for contraception.

Outside of work she very much enjoys Yoga, tennis and spending time with the family.

DR TAN IS CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS.[/our_team][our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Diagarajan Ganessane” image=”1599″]Dr Ganessane acquired his primary medical qualification in India, furthering his qualifications in the UK becoming a qualified GP where he continued to work over a period of 8 years. ​During this time, Dr Ganessane also obtained his postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics. ​

[our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Bimal Shrestha” image=”1677″ subtitle=”MBBS, MRCGP(UK), FRACGP, MRCS (UK)”]From a primary school teacher in Nepal to a GP in Australia, Dr Shrestha’s career has spanned over three continents.

After completing medical school in 2002, he qualified as a Surgeon in the UK prior to training and working there as a GP. His interests include minor surgery, skin disease & wound management and chronic disease management. He also has an interest in the use of audio-visual aids in the practice of Medicine and is a Clinical Supervisor for medical students from Melbourne University who attend the practice as part of their training.[/our_team][our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Irfana Sohail” image=”1740″ subtitle=”MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG., DCH”]Dr Irfana Sohail was born and studied medicine in Pakistan. After relocation to Australia, she spent a few years in hospital based training working mainly in emergency medicine, ENT and obstetrics and gynaecology.

She went on to rural GP training in regional NSW and qualified in 2021 .

In addition, she holds post graduate diploma in paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology.

Clinical interest includes women ‘s health including contraceptive advice , implanon insertion and removal, cervical screening, Antenatal care, Full skin checks , simple skin excisions , biopsy ,child health and general advice and procedure including iron infusions.[/our_team][our_team style=”circle” heading=”Dr Erandi Fernando” image=”1799″ subtitle=”MBBS”]Dr Erandi Fernando studied medicine at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, graduating in 2009 with an MBBS. In 2014, she moved to Australia working for several years as a Medical Officer in the Emergency Department of Campbelltown Hospital.

Erandi returned to General Practice in 2017 and has worked as a General Practitioner since then. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a Diploma of Child Health and is proficient in minor cosmetic surgical procedures.

Erandi has a keen interest in children’s and women’s health and speaks both English and Sinhalese.[/our_team]
