    Please note, there is no bulk billing after 6 pm on weekdays or for weekend appointments, including children’s appointments.

  • How much are repeat scripts?

    Laurimar Medical Centre offers a set fully private $30 fee for a repeat script.

    This assists patients in getting medical treatment from their doctor and is all done via the online booking system.

  • Does the clinic provide assistance for patients who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment?

    Absolutely.

    The Medical Centre ensures that patients with hearing or speech impairments receive the support they need for effective
    communication during their visits.

    We utilise the National
    Relay Service (NRS)
    to facilitate communication for patients who require these services, ensuring they can access
    our healthcare services without barriers.

  • Do you provide interpreter services for non-English speaking patients?

    If you require an interpreter, please inform us at the time of booking your appointment. You can also mention your need
    for an interpreter when you arrive at the centre.

    Our staff will arrange for TIS National to
    provide an interpreter in your language, either in person or over the phone, depending on the availability and your
    preference.

    We have contracted DoctorDoctor locum service to provide out-of-hours care for the centres registered patients.

  • What is the procedure around getting results

    This practice uses an automated SMS reminder system to communicate with patients regarding their results.

    For clinically significant results, you will receive a phone call from one of the practice nurses on behalf of your doctor

    In line with the commitment to exemplary care and confidentiality, we recommend scheduling a follow-up consultation one week post any investigations or tests unless you’ve been given alternative instructions.
