Dr Irfana Sohail was born and studied medicine in Pakistan. After relocating to Australia, she spent a few years in hospital-based training, mainly in emergency medicine, ENT, obstetrics, and gynaecology.
She went on to rural GP training in regional NSW and qualified in 2021.
In addition, she holds a post-graduate diploma in paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology.
Clinical interest includes women ‘s health including contraceptive advice, Implanon insertion and removal, cervical screening, Antenatal care, Full skin checks, simple skin excisions, biopsy, child health and general advice and procedures including iron infusions.
